Hotel Gambrinus

The stylish lobby of the Hotel Gambrinus has white Carrara marble floors, contemporary red leather chairs and wall-mounted glass chandeliers. In a niche in front of the mahogany reception desk is a bronze cast of a Roman gladiator’s armor.

The hotel operates an excellent value airport shuttle which leaves every half hour from Fiumicino Airport between 7 AM-11 PM. The bar/lounge/restaurant area on the lower ground is wireless-enabled offering complimentary high speed internet access from hotel computers or guests’ personal machines.

The hotel serves Italian cuisine on the lower ground floor, where breakfast is also served. A bar serves coffee and alcoholic drinks until 10:30 PM daily.

The Hotel Gambrinus, Rome, has 57 spacious guestrooms all of which are accessible by lift. Rooms are spread across four floors, two of which are non-smoking. Amenities include irons, faxes, clock radios, high speed internet access (fee) and view bill functionality. Parquet flooring, matching desks, silk-upholstered chairs and headboards in dark or light woods. Rooms come in one of four color schemes: green/cream, red/gold, green/gold and cream/yellow, depending on the floor. Tall windows, fabric covering instead of wallpaper and maroon leather armchairs or sofabeds feature in every room. Some have views over the Villa Bonaparte’s gardens next door. Bathrooms have grey marble sinks, bathroom telephones and tubs or shower stalls. A complimentary bottle of wine is supplied on arrival.
